Women’s T20 2020 To Be Held in UAE From November: GC Meet

BCCI Chief Saurav Ganguly confirms Women’s T20 to start from November in UAE. After the announcement of IPL 2020, Women T20 is next big cricket thing to happen. 

Various players have welcomed this decision of BCCI, former Women Cricket Player Anjum Chopra is happy about this decision. The third edition of Women’s T20 challenge also known as women’s IPL will be staged from 1 to 10 November.  

There are several norms & protocols which will be followed as the current Covid-19 Pandemic. As earlier ICC banned use of saliva for bowlers, due to which many players were upset. Situation does not permit to make it a usual match as earlier it did. 

It will be a no crowd match, the stadiums will be empty, the only way is to watch it up on your TV or live streams on your cell phones. This is for initial stages; it may change for later matches; hints Governing Bodies. 

The Indian Women team will be leaving for UAE in the third or fourth week of October, meanwhile it will be mid of IPL. The response was great last year, the governing bodies are hoping this year it will be a big response too.
