Women's IPL 2020: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has asked all the thirty players to assemble on October 13 in Mumbai for the Women's IPL 2020. Women's Indian Premier League is scheduled to happen in UAE in November. The lack of preparation time is a matter of concern. The Women's T20 would be a three-horse race (3 teams). However, BCCI has not announced the teams, But they have informed Indian players, capped and uncapped to reach Mumbai.

Post reaching Mumbai the cricketers will be quarantined for a week and will be tested multiple time during the quarantine. The players are expected to leave for UAE on October 22. The same quarantine rules of Men IPL will be followed. The players will undergo six days quarantine in UAE. After three negative RT-PCR tests the players will be transferred to the biosecure bubble.
The biggest attraction of the tournament will be veteran Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami, they have retired from international cricket. The whole tournament will be played at Sharjah stadium, the smallest venue in UAE. The tournament will commence on November 4 and will be concluded on November 9. Due to the world pandemic, the event was expected to be cancelled this year until BCCI president Sourav Ganguly announced the tournament will happen this year.
BCCI is also trying to rope in some foreign players who probably from neighbouring countries and a handful form West Indies and England.
