ICC Player of the Decade Awards:
The International Cricket Council(ICC) to confer 'Player of the Decade Awards' postponed, we will soon publish the updates in this regard as and when ICC declared new date. The Indian cricket team skipper Kohli nominated for five different categories. ICC has already nominated the elite players for the ICC Awards 2020 in various categories for their performances over the decade and across formats last month. For ICC Men's ODI Player of the Decade, the three Indians have been nominated among others.
Virat Kohli and R Ashwin are two Indians among seven players nominated for the prestigious Player of the Decade categories. The other four eminent names on the list are Sri Lankan veteran pacer Lasith Malinga, Australia’s left-arm Mitchell Starc, South African batting genius Mr. 360 AB de Villiers, and former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara.
As we are talking about the ‘Fab Four’ - Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Joe Root, and Kane Williamson, all have performed consistently in men’s cricket from 2011 up till now, Ellyse Perry, Suzie Bates, and Mithali Raj have nominated in the women’s cricket.
