Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021: A total of 38 teams are going to play in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021 which have been divided into six groups including Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D, Group E, and Plate.

Vijay Hazare Trophy 2020-2021: India’s prime ODIs competition Vijay Hazare Trophy will finally get underway from February 20 with nine matches scheduled to be played on an opening day. A total of 103 matches will be played during the tournament that will witness 38 teams. The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021 will be played from February 20 to March 14 in which the Eliminators will follow five rounds of group matches which will give way to quarterfinals followed by two semi-finals and the epic final will be scheduled on March 14, 2021.

A total of 38 teams are going to play in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021 and they are divided into six groups - Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D, Group E, and Plate. As per the latest BCCI schedule, all Vijay Hazare Trophy matches will start from 9:00 AM according to IST. 

Notably, Karnataka defeated Tamil Nadu in a rain-affected final (VHT 2020) last season and clinched their 4th title. Moreover, Tamil Nadu is the most successful team having won the title on five occasions. Karnataka, who won the trophy last year, will be going to defend their title.

Elite A: Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Hyderabad, Tripura, Baroda, Goa

Elite B: Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh

Elite C: Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Odisha, Railways, Bihar

Elite D: Delhi, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Pondicherry

Elite E: Bengal, Services, Jammu & Kashmir, Saurashtra, Haryana, Chandigarh

Plate Group: Uttarakhand, Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Sikkim
