India vs England series: The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has announced their squad for the third and fourth Test against England in Ahmedabad on Wednesday (February 17). Indian dynamo cricketer Shardul Thakur along with Shabaz Nadeem have been left out of the India squad for the final two Tests. Umesh Yadav will join the team in Ahmedabad after a fitness assessment and replace Thakur in the squad. Take a look at India's squads vs ENG for the first two Tests as given below.
The in-form wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul, who has achieved full fitness will also be eligible for the third (pink-ball D/N) and fourth Test set to be played in Ahmedabad's newly designed Sardar Patel Cricket Stadium from February 24.
However, the likes of Mohammed Shami (forearm fracture), Ravindra Jadeja (fractured thumb), and Hanuma Vihari (grade 2 muscle tear) will not be available for selection.

In the other major developments, Indian pacers Ankit Rajpoot, Avesh Khan, Sandeep Warrier, Krishnappa Gowtham, and Saurabh Kumar have been named as net bowlers while KS Bharat and Rahul Chahar have been named as standbys. Abhimanyu Easwaran, Shahbaz Nadeem, and Priyank Panchal have also been released to play Vijay Hazare Trophy, along with Shardul Thakur.
