BBL 10 SYT vs PRS Highlights: Sydney Thunder routed the bottom-placed Perth Scorchers by seven wickets in the 12th match of BBL 2020-21 played at Hobart. The two experienced lads Callum Ferguson and Ben Cutting have done it once more for the Thunders. With this clinical win, the Thunders registered their second win of the tournament and climbed up to the top four in the BBL standings. Perth Scorchers, however, still expecting to taste the first win in the tournament. Ben Cutting adds the cutting edge in the company of his skipper, who remains unbeaten on 61.

Sydney Thunder skipper Callum Ferguson looked very scratchy initially and struggled a little bit earlier. The Thunders though hasn't started well and lost Alex Hales in the very first over for a golden duck. Usman Khawaja looked solid during his brief-stay but when he departs after scoring 21, Ferguson got off with flying colors and played all over the park with a brisk rate. Callum Ferguson grabs the Man of the Match for his calm and composed knock as well.

Earlier, Sydney Thunder has won the toss and opted to field. Jason Behrendorff, who missed the previous match, is back in the XI for Perth Scorchers. Two debutants Ollie Davies and Adam Milne made their debut for Sydney in place of Alex Ross and Jono Cook for today's BBL match.

Mitchell Marsh was the top scorer for Perth Scorchers and he slammed an unbeaten half-century (52 off 41) and Cameron Bancroft's cameo propelled the Scorchers to 152/5 in 20 overs but they were certainly found to be short of 15-20 runs. For Thunders, Daniel Sams, Sangha and, McAndrew took a wicket each.

Jason Behrendorff and Andrew Tye were very disciplined with the new ball and kept tight and put extra pressure upfront. But both experienced guides the Thunders to a comfortable victory with three balls to go. Behrendorff, Fawad Ahmed, and Aaron Hardie picked one wicket each.
