Sydney Sixers vs Melbourne Renegades Highlights: In the sixth match of Big Bash League (BBL) 2020-21, Sydney Sixers vanquished Melbourne Renegades by a record-breaking 145 run win in Hobart and moved to the third spot in the BBL points table. Renegades had hardly crossed over the 50-run mark and bundled out for just 60 in 10.4 overs. The score is only just above their previous lowest score of 57 from the 2015 season. A shocker from the Finch and Co as the team who crushed Perth Scorchers last night to get their campaign off in style.
Interestingly, it is the highest margin of victory in BBL history (in terms of runs) and Renegades narrowly avoided breaking their own record of 57 runs in BBL Season 4 against Melbourne Stars. But this performance now will bring back memories of last year where they lost nine matches on a trot to finish bottom in the BBL standings.
The biggest victory in the history of the BBL.

Ben Dwarshuis and Steve OKeefe decimated Melbourne' batsmen early while the Windies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite complete the formalities with the ball. Dwarshuis finished with 4/13 while O'Keefe grabbed three for 16.
Earlier, Melbourne Renegades won the toss and opt to bowl first, Josh Philippe and Jordan Silk took them to the cleaners as the Sixers posted a massive target of 205 for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Josh Philippe was named as 'Player of the Match' for his exceptional knock of 95 off 57 balls, studded with nine fours and three sixes.
