Suresh Raina who pulled out of IPL 2020 due to attack on his family in India recently was called by DGP of Jammu & Kashmir to talk about the plans of Sports skills development in Jammu & Kashmir police department. DGP Dilbag Singh meets Suresh Raina today and discussed various aspects of Sports skills growth and action plan to be implemented in Jammu & Kashmir. Moreover, They discuss the action plans of J&K police and also to prepare a route map which encourages youth to sharpen their sports skills. Moreover, Raina decided to meet the local cricket clubs in J&k. The DGP of J&K, Dilbag Singh also presented Suresh Raina with the momento.

Both DGP and Suresh Raina were seen wearing mask while meeting. This is not the first time Suresh Raina has meet Jammu & Kashmir DGP. In August 2020, Raina meets him and shown interest in developing Cricket in the Union Territory. Raina previously desired to invest in infrastructure and ensure the development of Sports facilities in Jammu & Kashmir. Also, he wished to provide opportunities to the underprivileged who didn't get the chance to showcase their talent. In the near future, we might see Suresh Raina guiding the Jammu & Kashmir state team.
Suresh Raina will not be participating in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. He pulled out of IPL 2020 after he heard the news of his family being attacked by robbers in Punjab. However, he gave hints of going back to UAE but till now nothing has been made official whether he would miss the whole season or make a comeback in the middle of the season. Along with Suresh Raina Harbhajan Singh also pulled out of IPL 2020 due to personal reasons.
