KXIP needs a desperate win here if they remain in the race of playoffs. Sheldon Cottrell delivered in a little bit but he was wicketless in his last three matches. England's experienced bowler Chris Jordan also did not gives much damage to his opponents yet. So, KXIP needs a desperate win here to stay alive in the race of the playoffs.

The stage is set for the Clash

KL Rahul at Toss

" I was hoping I'd lose the toss but I would have wanted to bat first too. We've just not been able to close games with bat or ball. We've started well, but not closed down things. Set batsmen haven't been able to convert into bigger scores. Bowlers haven't executed their plans but we know that can happen. Guys know that we've made mistakes and everyone is keen to come back stronger. Three changes - Prabhsimran, Arshdeep and Mujeeb come in for Jordan, Brar and Sarfaraz ".

David Warner at Toss

We'll have a bat. Last game while chasing, we lost a lot of wickets in the middle. And in the bowling, there were about two or three overs where they just overpitched. 170-200 has been the range of par scores. Don't know how the track will play until you are out there. One change - Khaleel in for Kaul".

KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal need support from the Bowlers

In all the matches KXIP have played this season, they have done excellent in batting. KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal are in the race of orange cap. This disturbing thing for Kings XI Punjab is their inconsistent bowling line up. Apart from Mohammed Shami, no other bowler has been consistent for KXIP. If KXIP want to return to winning way their bowlers need to perform well today.
