Sri Lanka Tour of England 2021: The two teams will play three ODIs from June 19-July 4. Sri Lanka will host the Lankan Premier League (LPL 2020) ahead of its two away tours, one with the Proteas and the second one with the English side. The Lankan will be touring to the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup Winner England for the month of June-July, next year and the dates have been finalized now. The men's international schedule also includes three Royal London ODIs against Sri Lanka, starting in late June, followed by three ODIs and as many Vitality T20s against Pakistan, before England tour Pakistan for two T20s in October. England Cricket Board (ECB) has been already announced their upcoming busy tour for the 2021 season including India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan.
Also, England’s two-match test series in Sri Lanka, which has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has been rescheduled for January next year, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) CEO Ashley de Silva has said. De Silva told the Sri Lankan newspaper Daily News.“We are in the process of rescheduling the tours that have been postponed,”
“There are also two other tours which are scheduled to take place with India and Bangladesh due to tour Sri Lanka in June-July and July-August respectively,” De Silva added.
