SRH vs KXIP: Kings XI Punjab batsman Nicholas Pooran scored the fastest fifty of the Indian Premier League 2020 against SunRisers Hyderabad in the 22nd match of the season. Pooran just took 17 balls to complete his half-century. His fifty in the 17 balls is also the second-fastest fifty in the Indian Premier League history. This is also his maiden fifty in the IPL.
Pooran arrives at the departure of Simran Singh in the 4th overs. Right from the start, he fired shots. First, he hammered two consecutive sixes on Abhishek Sharma in the 7th over and then again in the 9th over, he hits three sixes and one four on Abdul Shamad to score the fastest fifty of the season. He completed his fifty in style with a six over the long-on.

Also, He scored the 2nd fastest fifty of the Indian Premier League history. KL Rahul holds the record of fastest fifty in the IPL. Rahul scored 50 runs in 14 balls to set the record. Talking about the game, SRH set a gigantic target for 203 runs for KXIP to chase. Until now, KXIP have lost four wickets with Rahul, Mayank, Simran Singh and Maxwell all back to the pavilion. Pooran has the responsibility to take his team over the finish line.
