Kings XI Punjab end their wicket drought in IPL

SRH vs KXIP: Kings XI Punjab finally ended their wicket drought in the match against SunRisers Hyderabad today. Ravi Bishnoi gets Warner out in the 16th over to get Kings XI Punjab first wicket in last 37 overs. In the last match, Chennai Super Kings beat Kings XI Punjab by 10 wickets and denied them any wicket to start the dry spell.

In today match again, KXIP failed to get any wickets in the first 15th overs. Bairstow and Warner destroyed the Kings XI Punjab bowling unit as they both completed their half-century. KL Rahul tried everyone to get the openers out but nothing worked for them until Bishnoi did the trick for them. David Warner in an attempt to hit a maximum on Bishnoi delivery lost his wicket. The ball went up high in the air and found Glenn Maxwell safe hands-on landing. This was KXIP first wicket in the last 37 overs bowled by the team.

Talking about the match, SunRisers Hyderabad score 201/6 in their 20 overs. After a brilliant start by Warner (52) and Bairstow (97), Ravi Bishnoi turned things in Kings XI Punjab. The U-19 spinner got Bairstow and Warner out in the same over to bring KXIP back in the game. Bishnoi gave 29 runs in his three overs and took three wickets.
