SRH vs KXIP IPL 2020 Who won Yesterday's Match: A splendid knock form Nicholas Pooran goes in vain as SunRsiers Hyderabad beat Kings XI Punjab by 69 runs in the 21st match of the season. SunRisers Hyderabad bounced back from the defeat the last game to register their third win of the season.
Kings chase started with an unlucky departure of Mayank Agarwal. A misunderstanding between him and KL Rahul resulted in the loss of his wicket. Rahul along with Simran Singh tried to build a partnership, but Khaleel Ahmed got Singh out followed by Abhishek Sharma getting the most important wicket of KL Rahul. Next came to bat Nicholas Pooran who right from the start clobbered bowlers for sixes. He completes his fifty in just 17 balls to score the fastest fifty of the season and second fastest of IPL history. However, on the other hand, Punjab kept losing wicket a regular interval. Rashid Khan finally did the job for SRH, a double-wicket maiden which includes wicket of Pooran (77) and Shami ended Punjab's hope. Punjab got all out on 132 runs.
Earlier, David Warner won the toss and opted to bat first. He along with Bairstow did a 150 runs partnership and both completed their half-century in the process. A brilliant over by Ravi Bishnoi getting both Warner (52) and Bairstow (97) to bring KXIP back in the game. SRH lost multiple wickets quickly in the end but a cameo from Williamson (20) took SRH total to 201 in 20 overs.
With the win, SunRisers Hyderabad have climbed up to the third position in IPL points table. Whereas Kings XI Punjab still sit at the bottom of the table.
