Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly has left for the UEA to examine the preparation of the upcoming season of IPL 2020.
He posted a photo on his Instagram handle in which he is wearing mask and face shield, mandatory while travelling in airlines. Ganguly Wrote, “My first flight in 6 months to Dubai...crazy life changes.
IPL chairman Brijesh Patel is already in Dubai looking after the ongoing arrangements and now he will be joined by Sourav Ganguly.
BCCI postponed the IPL which was schedule to happen in April-May. After much contemplation, they decided to host the event in September-November at United Arab Emirates.
This season IPL will be played without spectators. However, in the later stages of the tournament we might see some fans in the stands.
The first match of the 13th season of Indian Premier League will be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings on 19th September at Abu Dhabi.
