India vs England Series: Team India flamboyant batsman Shubman Gill has been taken for precautionary scans after suffering a blow while fielding on Monday, according to the reports. Gill sustained a blow on his left forearm on day three of the ongoing second Test between India and England at Chepauk in Chennai where the tourists are stammering on 113/6 and still trailing by 369 runs.
England Skipper Joe Root is still battling hard for his team and stays unbeaten on 32 while newcomer Ben Foakes is yet to open his account in this innings. Indian spinners are all firing, the local lad R Ashwin nipped three key wickets whereas Axar also took a piece.
The BCCI Medical Team is assessing him, won't be fielding today. Gill hasn't impressed at Chennai and scored a mere 0 and 14 in both innings. Let's see whether the rookie batsman found his place or not in the upcoming pink-ball D/N Test at Motera Stadium, Ahemadabad.

The visitors have already lost three in the second innings and if India does create further damage, could well be a short stroll towards victory. However, England still has some batting to come, with Moeen Ali, slated to bat at No. 8, they can't afford to lose more wickets from hereon.
