CSK VS MI IPL 2020: Chennai Super Kings(CSK) new Indian batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad, who tested positive for COVID-19 last month, remains in isolation and is unlikely to be available for Chennai Super Kings in the much-awaited upcoming tounament of Indian Premier League (IPL) in the first match against Mumbai Indians on September 19 in Abu Dhabi. Chennai Super Kings franchise and their captain Mahender Singh Dhoni all eyeing on the new talent of Indian Cricket team batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Gaikwad undergoes for two tests on Sunday and Monday respectively, the results of which are not yet come. After clearing the COVID-19 test from a mendatory period of 14-day quarantine, Gaikwad also needed to undergo some other tests to ensure he is fit to for training. Ruturaj has still not been cleared by the BCCI medical team and is in isolation. He is unlikely to be available for the first match of Chennai Super Kings against the defending champions Mumbai Indians. We are very hopeful and expecting him back in the lineup for Chennai Super Kings in the next couple of days in UAE.
Gaikwad may be seen the replacement of their experienced player Suresh Raina, who was pulled out of the IPL 2020 due to his personal reasons. Moreover, their another off-spinner Harbhajan Singh also not available in the tournament. They are also looking for his replacement which is not done yet.
As we all know that their star performer and most experienced players in the form of Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh has already pulled off the whole tournament due to some personal reasons and now their young Indian player Ruturaj Gaikwad also not fit for coming back in the opener match against Mumbai Indians. So, it will be a huge setback to their squads which may cause to them at a big level of the much-awaited tournament.
