RR vs KKR Highlights, Match Result: Kolkata Knight Riders beat Table-topper Rajasthan Royals by 37 runs to register there second consecutive win of the season. With this win, KKR have hiked up to 2nd position in IPL 2020 Points table. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals slipped to the third position. Shubman Gill was once again the top performer for Kolkata Knight Riders in batting and youngsters Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti continued their splendid work against Rajasthan Royals in bowling.

Steve Smith winning the toss invited Kolkata Knight Riders to bat first. Sunil Narine and Shubman Gill started the innings for KKR. Narine (15) once again got out early. Following his departure, Nitish Rana (22) came on the crease to bat who was playing some beautiful shots before losing his wicket to Rahul Tewatia in the 10th over. Surprisingly Andre Russell came to bat next. Gill (47) who was heading for his second fifty of the season was got out by Archer. KKR Captain Dinesh Karthik disappointed show continues as he got out for 1 run. Morgan (34) with a cameo from Cummins (12) took KKR total to 174 in 20 overs. Jofra Archer (2-18) was RR best bowler of the night.

Rajasthan Royals had a dented start as they lose their captain Steve Smith (3) in the second over. Youngsters Mavi and Nagarkoti further devastated Rajasthan Royals top and middle order as RR were reduced to 42-5 in eight overs. Uthappa, in-form Sanju Samson, Buttler all back to the pavilion. Tom Curran 54 runs of 36 balls saved Rajasthan Royals from the humiliation. Mavi, Nagarkoti, Varun Chakravarthy all got two wickets each and Pat Cummins, Sunil Narine and Kuldeep Yadav all got one each.

Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shahrukh Khan was stopped cheering for his team in Dubai stands. He proved a lucky charm for the team. Kolkata Knight Riders will next face Delhi Capitals on October 3. And Rajasthan Royals will too play against Royal Challengers Bangalore on October 3.
