RCB vs MI Virat Kohli: Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli is certainly having a tough time in IPL 2020. After the disastrous show against Kings XI Punjab, things turned all the more adverse for Kohli as he got out early against Mumbai Indians today. The Indian international was highly criticised after his devastating performance in the last match.
In today's match, Kohli came to crease after the departure of Australian Aaron Finch. Royal Challengers Bangalore were 81/1 in nine overs. Right from the first ball, Kohli was not confident and was struggling to connect the ball. Mumbai Indians spinner Rahul Chahar was continually worrying Virat Kohli. The deteriorated confidence of Kohli was vivid for his batting today. The pressure was building on the team. Kohli and Padikkal managed to score only 10 runs in the previous four overs (9th to 12th over). In order to ease the pressure, Kohli tried to go for a boundary and lost his wicket. on the 2nd delivery of the13th over Virat tried to hit the ball over the covers but could not time it perfectly and gave an easy catch to Rohit Sharma. Rahul Chahar after much hard work finally got the wicket of Kohli. He scored 3 runs in 11 balls.

vs SunRisers Hyderabad- 14(13)
vs Kings XI Punjab- 1(5)
vs Mumbai Indians 3(11)
Virat Kohli is the highest run-scorer in the IPL and by looking at the above stats it is very unrealistic to see. Kohli was recently criticised by Sunil Gavaskar for his poor performance and brought in his wife Anushka Sharma in the matter. The Gavaskar's comment caused outrage bifurcating fans in two teams- against and pro. And today performance clearly signifies something is wrong with Kohli.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman is a key player for the team and with such substandard performances, RCB dream of winning the IPL trophy is rigorous. Virat Kohli needs to buckle up if he wants to win his first IPL trophy.
