RCB vs KXIP IPL 2020 Who won Yesterday's Match: In the 31st match of Indian Premier League played Yesterday, Kings XI Punjab beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by eight wickets to register their second win of IPL 2020. The match was a close one as the match-winner was decided on the last delivery. Yuzvendra Chahal almost did the impossible in the match.

Before the match, Kings XI Punjab had lost five consecutive matches. After emerging winner in Yesterday match, Punjab ended their losing streak. Royal Challengers Bangalore on the other hand lost their third game of this edition. Virat Kohli 48 runs innings went in vain. 

Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bat first. The usual opening partners, Finch and Padikkal started the innings for RCB. Both had a good start but could not capitalise it. Finch (20) and Padikkal (18) departed with the conclusion of the powerplay. Captain Virat Kohli came next to bat. He continued his run-scoring form. 

Ashwin kept Banglore batsmen caged and also took the important wicket of Washington Sundar. Shami got the most significant wickets of the innings. In a span of three balls, he got both Ab de Villiers (2) and Virat Kohli (48) out to curtail RCB total. A cameo from Shivam Dube (23) and Chris Morris (25) guided RCB to 171 in 20 overs.

Despite Gayle's inclusion in the squad, Same old opening partners, KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal initiated the chase for KXIP. KL Rahul scores hid fourth half-century of the season. Mayank Agarwal just (45) missed out his fifty. Yuzvendra Chahal bowled him out to provide RCB with the first breakthrough of the match. 

When Gayle came out to bat, it didn't look he is playing his first match of the season. The power hitter clobbered 53 runs in 45 balls and took Punjab close to the victory line. Kohli bought Chahal back to attack to bowl the last first. KXIP needed two runs in six balls with Rahul and Gayle on the crease.

He conceded just one run five balls and also got Chris Gayle run out. With one run required in one ball, Pooran came out to the crease to face Yuzvendra Chahal. Pooran finished the match in style and hammered a six over the long-on to finish the match in Punjab's favour. KL Rahul remained not out for 61*.

Kings XI Punjab Captian and Orange Cap holder KL Rahul was awarded the man of the match award. KXIP are now have four points in eight games. RCB have 10 points in eight games.
