Rajasthan Royals preparations is in full swing for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League which will be held in UEA this year.The tournaments will start on 19th september,2020 and will be wind up on 10th November,2020. Rajasthan Royals team will start their Indian Premier League 2020 campaign against Chennai Super Kings on 22nd September at Sharjah.

Rajasthan Royals team finished the last season at 7th position. RR won the inaugural season of IPL 2008, post 2008 they have failed to reach the finals. The team have reached playoffs twice in last three seasons but couldn't crossover the eliminator hurdle.
In order to overcome the playoffs, hurdle the RR have revamped their squad for IPL 2020. Prior to 2020 season Rajasthan royals traded Ajinkya Rahane to Delhi Capitals, Krishnappa Gowtham to Kings XI Punjab and Dhawal Kulkarni to Mumbai Indians. To fill the place, they bought in Robin Uthappa (3 cr), Jaydev Unadkat (3 cr), Yashasvi Jaiswal (2.4), Kartik Tyagi (1.3 cr), Andrew Tye (1 cr), Tom Curran (1 cr), Anuj Rawat (80 lakh), David Miller (75 lakh), Osahne Thomas (50 lakh), Anirudha Joshi (20 lakh) and Akash Singh (20 lakh).
Steve Smith will lead the side for IPL 2020.
Steve Smith (Captain)- Steve Smith is another name of consistency. The Australian can control the momentum of the match and guide RR to big totals.
Jos Buttler- He represents England in international cricket. Buttler has scored 1300+ runs in 45 IPL matches with an average of 35.53.
David Miller- The South African is new addition to the team. His innings of 38 balls hundred is still remembered by the fans. RR would be expecting same magic from him.
Robin Uthappa- He has already won two IPL title with KKR. Uthappa is consistent with his batting and a regular run scorer for his team.
Jofra Archer- The England international is a complete package to have. He can bowl above 150 kph, can bowl slow delivers to deceive batsmen and most importantly he a death over specialist.
