Williamson slammed his 24th Test hundred

NZ vs PAK 2nd Test: The Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson slams 24th Test century against Pakistan in the second test is being played in Christchurch. With this scintillating ton, he becomes the first Centurion of 2021. Willamson slammed four fours in an over to go from 78 to 94 and then reach to his blistering century with another classical four down to fine leg. 

Williamson takes just 35 balls to go from fifty to hundred, taking the sting out of Pakistan after weathering the storm upfront. New Zealand are 270//5 in reply to Pakistan's 297, trails by just 27 runs on day two. Williamson is unbeaten on 107 and Henry Nicholls is on 79 not out. The Pakistan bowlers have looked flat and also wasted a review in trying to make something happen. 

Earlier, Pakistan were all-out for 297 in their first innings. The visitors' batsmen fought hard, led by Azhar Ali's stellar knock of 93. His partnership with skipper Mohammad Rizwan was the highlight for the visitors as they made a good recovery after losing wickets at regular intervals. Pakistan ended with 297 at the Stumps on Day 1.
