Earlier, Pakistan were all-out for 297 in their first innings. The visitors' batsmen fought hard, led by Azhar Ali's stellar knock of 93. His partnership with skipper Mohammad Rizwan was the highlight for the visitors as they made a good recovery after losing wickets at regular intervals. Pakistan ended with 297 at the Stumps on Day 1.
