MI vs KXIP Playing 11 for Match 36: The current defending champion Mumbai Indians will go up next with the bottom-placed KL Rahul's Kings XI Punjab in their next match at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai on upcoming double-header Sunday. The match will be started on 6 PM Local Time and 7:30 IST. Both can go unchanged for this Sunday's double-header. The likely Playing 11 of both teams are as given below.

Mumbai Indians are a well-balanced side and plays some fabulous cricket thus far in the ongoing tournament. After the win over RCB, Kings XI Punjab keep their hopes alive in the tournament but from here on, each and every game will be a do or die for them.

The Universe Boss Chris Gayle is back in the side and now it looks like a completely different team with the big gun from Jamaica. Gayle's return certainly gives them a solid base at the top. He scored a quickfire half-century straight after his return that proves he is the key success for KXIP. Mayank Agarwal and their skipper proves themselves once again even Kings XI side is at the bottom of the table.

In a season filled with lots of near-misses, Kings XI Punjab finally managed to register a nervy win over RCB. KXIP skipper KL Rahul acknowledged after the match that KXIP failed to contain big moments after their second win of this season and it comes both times against the same opponent i.e. Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers. They cleared the last hurdle by a few inches.

Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians shows a complete dominance this season even after starts with a loss against the runners-up in the opener of the 13th edition of Indian Premier League(IPL 2020). The Mumbai-based franchise MI are in the peak form and currently standing at the 2nd spot after the Capitals with 10 points from their 7 matches played so far. KXIP, however, still at the bottom-place with this win over in-form Royal Challengers.
