MS Dhoni and Shane Watson both are in their late thirties. The 39 years old teammates are one of the oldest and experienced players in the Chennai Super Kings squad. Ms Dhoni and Shane Watson recent net practice session video will surely force you to question their age. Shane Watson joined Chennai Super Kings in 2018. Watson usually opens the batting for CSK. In 2018 title-winning season Watson scored 555 runs in 15 matches with an average of 39.64. He also scored two centuries and two half-centuries during the season. Shane Watson experience of playing PSL which happened in UAE will help the team during the initial phase of the tournaments, where all the teams take time to settle and adapt to the conditions.

On the Other hand, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is Chennai Super Kings legend. Under his leadership, Chennai Super Kings won three IPL titles-2010, 2011 and 2018. CSK captain has scored 4400+ plus runs in his IPL career. Dhoni has also scored 23 half-centuries in his IPL career. Dhoni who announced his retirement from international cricket on 15th August 2020 now has only one stop to play cricket professionally i.e. Chennai Super Kings.

Chennai Super Kings will play their first game of the season against Mumbai Indians on 19th September in Abu Dhabi.
