Shane Watson joined Chennai Super Kings in 2018. Watson usually opens the batting for CSK. In 2018 title-winning season Watson scored 555 runs in 15 matches with an average of 39.64. He also scored two centuries and two half-centuries during the season. Shane Watson experience of playing PSL which happened in UAE will help the team during the initial phase of the tournaments, where all the teams take time to settle and adapt to the conditions.
