KKR vs SRH IPL today match Result: Kolkata Knight Riders got their first victory of the season as they beat SunRisers Hyderabad by seven wickets. KKR chased the target of 145 runs with two overs remaining. Shubman Gill was the star performer of the match, he scored  70* off 62 balls. Manish Pandey (51 runs in 38 balls) was the highest scorer for the losing side.

SunRisers Hyderabad winning the toss opted to bat first. IPL most expensive player this season Pat Cummins got Bairstow out to give an early scare to SRH. After Bairstow departure, Manish Pandey came next to bat. Warner gave away his wicket to Varun Chakravarthy with a loose shot. Russell got the important wicket of Manish Pandey in Bizzare fashion to restrict SRH to 142 runs in 20 overs. A full toss by Russell rattled Pandey who lost his balance and gave an easy catch to Russell. Captain Dinesh Karthik used seven bowlers in the match.

During the Chase, KKR had the hiccups in the start. First KKR lost Narine and Nitish Rana who was playing some exceptional shot and looking good followed by duck from their Captian Dinesh Karthik. Next came to bat Eoin Morgan, he partnering with opener Shubman Gill took Kolkata Knight Riders over the finish line. Eoin Morgan 42 (29) scored the winning boundary on the last delivery of the 18th over.

The duck from Narine and Dinesh Karthik might have been overshadowed by Gill and Morgan's performance but both of them need to buckle up in the upcoming matches. With today win Kolkata Knight Riders have reached the 5th position in IPL 2020 points table. On the other hand, SunRisers Hyderabad is at the bottom of the table with two losses in two matches.

Kolkata Knight Riders will next face Rajasthan Royals on September 30. And SunRisers Hyderabad will lock horns with Delhi Capitals on September 29.
