A very complete performance by Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH), the Orange Army picks up a comprehensive 8 wicket win over Rajasthan Royals(RR) on Thursday. Pandey and Shankar dominate as Sunrisers Hyderabad beat RR and keep its playoff hopes alive. Sunrisers Hyderabad earns two crucial points and climbs up to the 5th spot in the table. The match was held on Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.
Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar re-establish Sunrisers Hyderabad inning after Warner and Bairstow were sent back early by Jofra Archer. They put together an unbeaten 140 runs stand for the third wicket to help SRH get across the line, with 11 balls to spare. Pandey scores quickfire 47-ball 83* including four boundaries and eight sixes while Vijay Shankar accumulates run a ball 52* with four fours.
Jason Holder's three-wicket haul ensured RR were restricted to 154/6. The win puts them on the fifth spot above Kings XI Punjab. Rajasthan Royals are languishing at the bottom-half and goes down to 7th place now.

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals finished with a total of 154 runs for the loss of six wickets. Sanju Samson 36 (26) was the top run-scorer. England's all-rounder Ben Stokes scored a 32-ball 30 but looking extremely uncomfortable at the top of the order. with Samson. Riyan Parag and Archer play some lusty blows towards the end which helps RR to set a competitive total.
The rest of the batsmen failed to make their presence felt, with some loose shots and lack of consistency. Jason Holder on debut picks 3/33 for SRH. Rashid Khan and Shankar further picked a wicket apiece.

Rajasthan Royals will play against defending champions Mumbai Indians on double-header Sunday while SRH takes on Kings XI Punjab tomorrow at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.
