IPL 2020 RR vs CSK 4th Match Result: Du Plessis and MS Dhoni hit some big sixes in death overs but could not secure the win for Chennai Super Kings.

IPL 2020 RR vs CSK 4th Match Result: Du Plessis 72 runs on 37 balls was not enough for the Chennai Super Kings as Rajasthan Royals won the match by 16 runs. Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Du Plessis (65 runs partnership) were going for the win but once again Jofra Archer (1-26) took the most important wicket of the match. In the second last over of the game, Archer got Du Plessis wicket to burn down the hope of Chennai Super Kings fans. 

Before all this, Sanju Samson along with captain Steve Smith vandalised Chennai Super Kings bowling attack. Sanju Samson scored 74 runs in 32 balls. At one point Rajasthan were 149/4 and was looking for the big total. Sam Curran took three wickets in quick succession and sent Rajasthan Royals on backfoot. When the total of 200 were looking difficult Archer came to the occasion and smashed three sixes in the last over to take Rajasthan Royals total to 216. 

Archer again turned up for the occasion while bowling and got the most important wicket of Du Plessis. Watson provided a good start to the team, but CSK could not capitalise it. Leg Spinner Rahul Tewatia was chief destructor for Rajasthan Royals. He got the wickets of CSK bowling hero sam Curran, Gaikwad (He Recently recovered from Covid-19) and Shane Watson. Du Plessis and Dhoni tried to do the impossible for Chennai Super Kings it proved too late for the yellows. Dhoni Three sixes in the final over were still a treat for the Chennai Super Kings fans. 

Sanju Samson was awarded Man of the Match award for his splendid innings. Next, Chennai Super Kings will face Delhi Capitals on 25th of September and Rajasthan Royals will face Kings XI Punjab on September 27.
