Royal Challengers Banglore and Kolkata Knight Riders will be facing each for the first time in IPL 2020 on coming Monday. Both the teams are performing brilliantly and are in great form. In points table RCB are at fourth position and KKR are slightly ahead of them at third position. RCB vs KKR Head to Head face off in the match 28 of IPL 2020 will be overall 25th meeting between the sides in the Indian Premier League.

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders played 24 matches against each other in IPL. Kolkata Knight Riders hold the upper hand over Royal Challengers Bangalore. Knight Riders have won 14 matches and RCB managed to get the victory in 10 matches. Thus RCB vs KKR Head to Head record is inclined towards Kolkata based franchise.

The first-ever Kolkata versus Bangalore match in IPL was played in 2008 and won by Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets. Royal Challengers Bangalore achieved the first win against KKR in 2009 season, they beat Kolkata by five wickets at Durban. In last ten matches played between RCB and KKR, Bangalore won just three matches, the rest seven matches are won by Kolkata. RCB versus KKR last encounter was on April 19. Royal Challengers Bangalore triumphed over Kolkata Knight Riders by 10 runs.

During 2014 season, RCB faced KKR at Sharjah, the same venue for today's match. In a last-over thriller, KKR defended 150 successfully and won by two runs. On October 12, RCB and KKR will once come face to face. Royal Challengers Bangalore would be aiming to get the revenge. Kolkata Knight Riders on the other hand will make sure they maintain 100% record against RCB at Sharjah. A win for RCB will also improve their poor performance in RCB vs KKR Head to Head record in IPL.
