IPL 2020 RCB vs RR Highlights: Virat Kohli once again silenced his haters with his performance. Kohli 72 not out helped Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Rajasthan Royals by 8 wickets with five balls remaining. Bangalore registers their third consecutive victory after losing the first match. Yuzvendra Chahal was the wrecker in chief as his 3-24 restricted Rajasthan Royals to 154.

Winning the toss Rajasthan Royals decided to ball first. The Royals had a bad as they lost Buttler, Steve Smith and Sanju Samson in the first six overs. Uthappa and Lomror were heading towards the big partnership but Chahal once again provided RCB with a breakthrough in the form of Robin Uthappa. Lomror (47) was the highest run-scorer of the RR side. A cameo from Riyan Parag (16), Rahul Tewatia (24) and Jofra Archer (16) took the team total to 154/6 in their 20 overs.

RCB lost Australian Aaron Finch (8) in the third over. Next came to bat, out of form Virat Kohli. The RCB looked in great form today and from the start, he looked confident. On the other end, Padikkal kept on smashing balls to the boundary and completed his 2nd half-century of this season. Padikkal scored 63 runs in 45 balls before being bowled by Jofra Archer. Archer was the most successful RR bowler with 1-18 figures. Kohli scored his 37th half-century to take the team closer to the target. De Villiers (12*) and Kohli (72*) comfortably took the team over the finish line with 5 balls remaining. 

Yuzvendra Chahal won the man of the match award for his stellar performance and he is now the leading wicket-taker in IPL 2020.
