RR Playing XI Prediction: Rajasthan Royals passed the opening test against Chennai Super Kings with flying colours. Captain Steve Smith and Sanju Samson run the show against mighty CSK. In the bowling department, Rahul Tewatia and Jofra Archer were the dominant force. After registering a confidence-boosting win in the first match Rajasthan Royals will next face Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2020. Here is how Rajasthan Royals could line up against Kings XI Punjab on Sunday.

RR Playing XI Prediction vs KXIP, IPL 2020


Yashasvi Jaiswal: The India U-19 batsman is signed by RR in IPL 2020 Auction for 4.2 Crore. He made his IPL debut against Chennai Super Kings and scored 6 (6). The southpaw needs a few more matches to settle and showcase his talent in the Indian Premier League.

Steve Smith: RR captain scored 67 runs in 47 balls against CSK. He dedicated the game with his batting and leadership skills. The Australian once settled usually ends the inning for the team, which he failed to do against CSK. Steve Smith is a top contender of the Orange Cap this season and he will look to score more runs against KXIP.

Sanju Samson: Rajasthan's Sanju Samson was the wrecker in chief against Chennai Super Kings. His superb knock of 74 runs in 32 balls earned him the player of the match award. The Right-handed batsman will aim to carry forward his run-scoring form against KXIP on Sunday.

David Miller: The South-African got out on diamond duck, without facing any bowl in his Rajasthan Royals debut. A miscommunication between Smith and Miller for the second run led to the runout. Miller would aim to forget the first match and start afresh in the upcoming match.

Robin Uthappa: Robi got out early in the commencing fixture. The Karnataka batsman has a bag full of experience and skills. He would be eager to showcase his skill and talent against Kings XI Punjab.

Riyan Garg: India's U-19 team star Riyan Garg lost his wicket cheaply in the first game. The right-handed batsman is appreciated for his performances in the domestic circuit and will aim to prove his and believers right. 

All Rounders

Rahul Tewatia: He was one of the top performers for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings. He ended the match with 37/3 in four overs and 10 runs in 6 balls. Tewatia will aim to emulate first match's performance on Sunday.

Tom Curran: In the first match England International took one wicket but gave 54 runs. RR would expect more from him in the next match. In the absence of Ben Stokes, his place in the team is not under jeopardize. The certainly over Ben Stokes arrival still prevails.


Jaydev Unadkat: The left-arm medium-pacer was expensive in the opening match. He gave 44 runs in 4 overs. Du Plessis whipped three sixes in his last over of the inning. RR can provide another opportunity to him despite nil wicket against CSK. His bowling in the powerplay overs disturbed CSK batsmen. 

Shreyas Gopal: Shreya Gopal the valuable wicket of Murli Vijay in the first match. Although he went for 1-38 he showed promising signs against Chennai Super Kings.

Jofra Archer: Right from the first game Archer started doing business. In the first match, he bowled 4 overs conceding just 26 runs and taking the crucial wicket of Faf De Plessis. He would be a constant headache for KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal.
