IPL 2020: Punjab's Glenn Maxwell takes a splendid catch against Mumbai Indians, Watch

IPL 2020 KXIP vs MI: Australian International Glenn Maxwell took a splendid to dismiss Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma in today's KXIP vs MI match. Rohit who hits the record 38th half-century of his IPL career was facing his Indian Teammate Mohammed Shami in the 17th over.

On the fist delivery of the over, Rohit tries to for a big over long-off. The ball went high in the air. All-rounder came underneath the ball and took the catch however during the process he lost his balance was about the cross the boundary rope but the Australian used his wit and intelligence and lofted the ball towards Neesham who came running from the long-on position. Rohit Sharma got out for 70 runs in 45 balls. With Rohit's wicket, Shami is now the leading wicket-taker in IPL with 8 wickets.

That was some tremendous work out there on the field by Maxwell and Neesham to claim the wicket of #MI Skipper.

Talking about the match, Punjab winning the toss decided to bowl first and invited Mumbai Indians to bat first. MI had a dented start as they lost De Kock and SuryaKumar Yadav early.  Rohit Sharma along with Ishan Kishan took the team total over a half-century.  Last Match hero Ishan Kishan scored 27 before losing his wicket. A brief cameo from Pollard (47 runs in 20 balls ) and Hardik Pandya (30 runs in 11 balls) in the death overs helped MI to score 191/4 in their 20 overs. Kings XI Punjab need 192 runs in 20 overs to win the match.
