All-rounder came underneath the ball and took the catch however during the process he lost his balance was about the cross the boundary rope but the Australian used his wit and intelligence and lofted the ball towards Neesham who came running from the long-on position. Rohit Sharma got out for 70 runs in 45 balls. With Rohit's wicket, Shami is now the leading wicket-taker in IPL with 8 wickets.

Talking about the match, Punjab winning the toss decided to bowl first and invited Mumbai Indians to bat first. MI had a dented start as they lost De Kock and SuryaKumar Yadav early. Rohit Sharma along with Ishan Kishan took the team total over a half-century. Last Match hero Ishan Kishan scored 27 before losing his wicket. A brief cameo from Pollard (47 runs in 20 balls ) and Hardik Pandya (30 runs in 11 balls) in the death overs helped MI to score 191/4 in their 20 overs. Kings XI Punjab need 192 runs in 20 overs to win the match.
