IPL 2020 KXIP vs RCB Result: KL Rahul becomes the first batsman to score hundred in IPL 2020 as Kings XI Punjab beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 97 runs. Virat Kohli had one of the worst nights of his IPL career. The RCB skipper dropped two catches of KL Rahul and got out on just 1 run.

Winning the toss Virat Kohli invited KXIP to bat first. KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal provided a blistering start to the innings. They scored 50 runs in the powerplay. Last match hero Mayank Agarwal was sent back to the pavilion by Yuzvendra Chahal. RCB  were getting wickets at regular interval but at one end Rahul was busy vandalising RCB bowling attack. KL Rahul completes his hundred in the 18th over. He scored 26 and 23 runs in 19th and 20th over respectively to take KXIP to 206 in 20 overs.

RCB had the worst start of the innings as Cottrell caused havoc. He got Padikkal and Virat Kohli out. RCB were 4/3 in the third over. Finch along with De Villiers picked up the team, but not for too long. Ravi Bishnoi got Aaron Finch out and Murugan Ashwin got de Villiers out to demolish RCB aspiration. Then it was a walk in the park for KXIP as Bangalore lost in its last five wickets in 26 runs.

KL Rahul was the star performer of the match. For his brilliant innings, he bagged the man of the match award.
