IPL 2020: In an Instagram interaction yesterday, Kings XI Punjab skipper KL Rahul jokingly gave a suggestion that he would want the Indian Premier League (IPL) organisers to ban the most reliable players like Kohli and de Villiers from the league, well you listen correctly. Royal Challengers Bangalore' two key players Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers both gave everything to his side every time when they are available for RCB from the past several years. Virat's Royal Challengers Bangalore, who is in peak form this season and won five out of seven games played so far. RCB will take on the bottom-placed Kings XI Punjab tonight in Match 31 of the ongoing season of Dream11 IPL 2020 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. This is also the 200th match for their skipper Virat Kohli. So, they will be looking to continue their winning momentum.
During an Instagram interaction yesterday, Kings XI Punjab's skipper KL Rahul said that he would want the IPL organisers to ban Kohli and de Villiers when the RCB captain asked him about a rule that he would like to be changed in the T20 format. Although, Rahul said this quite a big thing for the most consistent performers but was in a funny style during an Instagram interaction on Wednesday. Giving a humorous suggestion for IPL organisers, KL Rahul said that once a player completes 5000 runs, he should be banned from the league and allow others to play.
“To start off, I think I would ask IPL to ban you and AB for next year. Once you have achieved a certain amount of runs, I think, the people should say ‘it’s enough’. Once you get 5000 runs it’s enough, now you guys let the others do the work,” KL Rahul said.
After a fine victory against RCB, Kings XI side lost 5 matches on the trot now and they certainly need to change the tactics and looking forward to gets back on track here today against in-form RCB. KXIP will be hoping to break their losing streak as they secured just two points from 7 games so far in their campaign. They lost six games and won just once.
