IPL 2020 KKR: Kolkata Knight Riders returned to winning ways by beating Chennai Super Kings by 10 runs in the last match. It was youngster Rahul Tripathi who proved to be the difference between the side. KKR decision of ascending his batting position to open the innings proved prudent and he played an impressive knock of 81 runs in 51 balls. KKR scored 167 in 20 overs. KKR bowling did an equally good job and restricted CSK star-studded batting line of players like- Watson, du Plessis, Rayudu and Dhoni. However, despite the KKR victory, Brett Lee feels Knight Riders needs to make a change in their strategy.

Australian Veteran thinks holding Narine was not a prudent decision." KKR got away with it against CSK and I think CSK threw it away. Holding Narine is not the best strategy for KKR. It might have worked against CSK but it is not a blueprint which they need to follow every time" said Brett Lee after the match on Star Sports.

Dinesh Karthik introduced their star bowlers Sunil Narine late into the attack against CSK. For the entire first half of CSK innings, Narine was not introduced. In the 11th over he was finally brought into the attack and did the trick for KKR. He ended the watch winning 31/1 in four overs.

Once the match was over KKR captain Dinesh Karthik said " There are some key players for every team. Narine is one for us. Least we can do is back him. 2-3 poor games, doesn't matter. Good to see Tripathi do the job at the top. Good thing about Russ is he's very versatile. He can bat slightly up, slightly down. Our batting is very fluid. I started at three, today I batted at seven. The way those guys batted at the start, they batted very well. Back end I've a lot of trust in Sunil and Varun, paid off".

Kolkata Knight Riders next will face Kings XI Punjab on Saturday.
