IPL 2020 KKR vs CSK: Chennai Super Kings bowler Dwayne Bravo becomes the 5th player in IPL history to take 150 wickets. Before the match, Bravo was three wickets short of the milestone. A brilliant spell of 3-37 in four overs from DJ Bravo helps him achieve this feat.
In the last over of the KKR innings, Bravo took a Brace. First, he got Nagarkoti out on the 2nd delivery to reach the 149 mark. Then on the second last delivery of the innings, Shivam Mavi tries to hit a biggy and ball took a leading edge towards Dhoni who dived to his right and grabbed it. Although the ball did fumble, Dhoni showed athleticism to grab it again and ensured Bravo his 150 wickets of the IPL.
DJ Bravo has now equalled Harbhajan Singh Record who also has 150 wickets in IPL. Mumbai Indians Lasith Malinga is leading the all the wicket-taker race with 170 wickets followed by Amit Mishra (160) and Piyush Chawla (156). Since both Harbhajan and Malinga not being a part of IPL 2020 and Amit Mishra pulling out due to injury, Bravo has the chance to leapfrog them to take the top position.
Talking about the Match, Rahul Tripathi played a brilliant Knock of 81 Runs. An Excellent last over by Bravo with just five runs from it restricted KKR to 167. Chennai Super Kings need 167 in 20 Overs.
