IPL 2020: Rajasthan Royals have hinted to change their captain, Steve Smith. Jos Buttler is the probable contender to replace the Steve Smith. Rajasthan Royals franchise shared a post on their official Twitter handle to hints out the change in leadership. Smith was appointed Rajasthan Royals captain in the previous season.
RR shared a picture of Jos Buttler who is holding a hug in his hand with World's Best Boss written on it. " Thankful for a boss like Joss" is the caption they have given the picture.

The post has clearly hinted at the change in Rajasthan Royals Captian. Royals have past history of changing captain in the middle of the season. Courtesy of continuous poor performances in 2019, Ajinkya Rahane was replaced by Steve Smith as team captain in the middle of the season.
Under Smith leadership, RR made an impressive start of IPL 2020 season. They beat Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab and registered victories in the first two matches. However, the team's form dipped after that and they lost four consecutive matches. They got their third win of the season against SunRiers Hyderabad. They once again returned to losing track as Delhi Capitals trounced over them in their previous match in IPL 2020.
Rajasthan Royals match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Dubai International Stadium on Saturday might be Jos Buttler's first match as Rajasthan Royals Captain. The change in captain is most likely to happen as Rajasthan have failed to perform under Steve Smith this edition. Kolkata Knight Riders have already changed thier captain today for the same reason.
In IPL Points tally, Rajasthan Royals are second from the bottom (7th Position). They have won three matches and lost four matches. Jofra Archer is the only player performing excellently for Royals. He is in the race to win Purple Cap this season. They cannot afford anything less than win in the remaining fixtures if they want to qualify for the playoffs.
