IPL 2020 Update: Rajasthan Royals wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler would be missing the opening clash of Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2020. The reason behind him missing the match is the players are still quarantine and following the strict protocols as directly by BCCI. Buttler was not a part of Bio-scure bubble which was created for other England and Australian players. This the reason why he needs to be under quarantine for full six days. The players who travelled to bio secure systems were quarantined for 36 hours only.

Buttler is staying with his family in UAE. The England International recently interacted with fans through Rajasthan Royals Instagram Handle. " I am really excited for IPL 2020. I have played cricket this summer for national team and if felt really good to go out and play again. I am excited because of Indian Premier League has started and with Chennai getting the win. Sam huge sixes was treat to the eyes. I am constantly telling tom to him more number of sixes for Royals than sam does for CSK", he said during a live chat on Rajasthan Royals Instagram account.

He further added, unfortunately i won't pe a part of the first match against CSK because of my quarantine period. I glad RR allowed me to have my family members here in UAE. I am also looking forward to open the innings for Royals in IPL. Also i am open change in batting position as desired by coach staff.

The wicket-keeper Batsman also thinks that his national teammate Ben Stokes would be available at some point of time in the tournament. Currnelty Ben Stokes is having a family time and taking days off.

Rajasthan Royals will play their first game against Chennai Super Kings on September 22 in Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
