After a break of almost five-months from cricket, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain prepares for the practice sessions & return to nets in Ranchi ahead of IPL 2020. A day after teammate Raina said Dhoni’s ‘helicopters’ are expected to be out soon, it seems as if captain has taken Raina’s words seriously.

As per reports, Dhoni has hit the ground running in a bid to prepare himself for the upcoming tournament, hitting JSCA Indoor Complex. Amid Covid-19 & social distancing norms there are not too many bowlers available in Ranchi, so Dhoni has taken facing bowling machine. CSK team is expected to meet up soon in Chennai on August 20 before the players take off for UAE.

All the other players also have started their practice & hitting off nets prior to their tour of UAE for IPL. Mumbai Indian (MI) will be looking forward to win the trophy this year too, CSK would want to avenge last season’s final defeat & notch their 4th IPL crown. Elsewhere Delhi Capitals, Kings XI Punjab & Royal Challengers Bangalore would be hoping to break their never winning any season crown & script their first win.

There has been a wave of excitement all around after the announcement of the IPL, but this year IPL is not going to be the same as of in the earlier years amid Covid-19 Pandemic, there are various precautionary & safety measures to be taken care of.

IPL 2020 will be starting from 19th September in UAE, the first match will be played between Mumbai Indians & Chennai Super Kings.
