IPL 2020: Delhi Capitals & Sunrisers Hyderabad, likely to travel together for UAE

Delhi Capital (DC), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are likely to share the chartered flight to UAE to compete in the IPL 2020. Both Delhi Capitals & Sunrisers will gather in Mumbai by 22nd August and will fly together to UAE on the same chartered flight on 23rd August. 

But the official statement is yet to come from both the teams. The travel schedule for all the other teams is yet to finalize, players have started to gather in their home cities & started to follow internal team protocols of safety measures & are in quarantine prior to flying for IPL 2020.

Most of the teams will be flying to UAE between 21st to 24th August. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) & Mumbai Indians (MI) will be the only team to travel on 21st from their charted flights. The players & support staff of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) & Rajasthan Royals (RR) are likely to fly from Mumbai between 22nd-24th August on separate chartered planes. 

Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) are yet to finalize the date to fly for UAE between 21-22 August. Virat’s Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) will be the last team leaving for IPL 2020 tournament in UAE. 

All the players will undergo multiple COVID-19 tests before entering the bio-bubble set by IPL 2020 management amid Pandemic. 

IPL 2020 will start from 19th September in UAE, the first match will be played between Mumbai Indians & Chennai Super Kings.
