Chennai Chase started with bumps. Australian Shane Watson (1) was sent back to the pavilion by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Followed by Natarajan getting Rayadu (8) out to increase the problem for CSK. Dangerous Du Plessis (22) after playing some sublime shots lost his wicket in the unluckiest manner. In an attempt to take a quick single Du Plessis fell short in front of bullet throw from PriyaM Garg. Jadhav (3) was the next one to go back to the pavilion.
