IPL 2020 bound players' performance in the England Vs Australia series. Three T20 and three ODI were played in the series.

IPL 2020: England Vs Australia T20 and ODI series is finally winded up yesterday with Australia winning the last ODI to clinch the 50 overs series by 2-1. Earlier, England won the T20 series by 2-1. Since all the matches are over now both Australian and English players will travel to UAE for the Indian Premier League 2020. The decision on their quarantine has not been made yet by BCCI but it looks like BCCI is not in a mood for any relaxation. The players will have to undergo Seven days quarantine most probably. Here we look at the performances of England and Australians players who are bound to IPL 2020.

IPL 2020: England players performances in the Eng Vs Aus 2020 series 

Eoin Morgan ( Kolkata Knight Riders) 

England one day and T20 captain Eoin Morgan played two T20 matches and scored just 12 runs. In ODI he played all the three matches and scored 88 runs with an average of 29.33. Morgan didn't perform well in both T20 and ODI series. He would be hoping to regain his form back in IPL. The 34 years England international plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League.

Moeen Ali ( Royal Challengers Bangalore) 

Moeen Ali is a left-hand batsman and an off-break bowler. He plays for RCB in the Indian Premier League. Moeen Ali scored 38 runs in three T20 Series, the wicket department remained empty in T20. In the ODI series, he just played one match and scored six runs. In total, he performed Drastically against Australia. It would be difficult for him to take his place in the RCB playing line up. 

Jofra Archer ( Rajasthan Royals) 

Jofra Archer is a right-arm seamer. He plays for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. Archer had an impressive T20 series against Australia. He took just three but most important wickets in three matches. In the ODI series, he helped the team to win 2nd ODI. But unfortunately could not win the series. He was the highest wicket-taker for England with seven wickets in three games.

Jonny Bairstow ( SunRisers Hyderabad)

English Wicketkeeper was bought by SRH for Rs.1.5 crore in 2019. Bairstow was the star performer for England in both T20 and ODI series. In the T20 series, he scored 72 runs and in the ODI series, he scored 196 runs with an average of 65.33. He is the top scorer in the ODI series. Bairstow will boost SRH chances of winning IPL 2020. 

Tom Banton ( Kolkata Knight Riders)

Tom Banton is a middle-order England Batsman. He could not perform in the T20 series and scored only 12 runs in three matches. He was not a part of the ODI series Vs Australia. Tom Banton was purchased by KRR in IPL 2020 auction. He is most likely to take place of Australian Chris Lynn in the  Kolkata Knight Riders squad. 

Jos Buttler ( Rajasthan Royals) 

Jos Buttler is a wicket-keeper batsman for Rajasthan Royals. Buttler played a pivotal role in England triumph over Australia in T20 Series. He scored 121 runs in two matches. However, he lost momentum in the ODI series. Buttler just scored 12 runs in three ODIs. Buttler is known for his explosive inning in T20 Cricket. Rajasthan Royals would be looking forward to his addition. 

Sam Curran ( Chennai Super Kings)

Sam Curran is an all-rounder who can help the team in both batting and bowling. However, he did not play many parts in the Eng Vs Aus series. Curran only played one ODI in which he scored one run. With previous performance like this, it would be really difficult for him to make his spot in the Chennai Super Kings line up. 

Tom Curran ( Rajasthan Royals) 

Tom Curran was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs.1 crore in IPL 2020 auction. He played three T20 and two ODIs scoring eight and 56 runs respectively. Curran is an all-rounder and is likely to play an important role for Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming season of IPL 2020.

David Waner (SunRisers Hyderabad) 

David Waner has been an integral part of the SunRisers Hyderabad team for the past few seasons. In the series against England, he played two T20 and scored 58 runs. On the other hand in the ODI series, he played all three matches and scored 36 runs. Warner is a kind of batsman who just one good game to gain momentum. SunRisers Hyderabad Captian is also one of the favorites to win the Orange cap.

Aaron Finch ( Royale Challengers Bangalore)

Aaron Finch is an Australian Opening batsman who plays for RCB in the Indian Premier League. Finch had a decent series against England. He played all the matches and scored 125 runs with an average of 41.66 and 101 runs with an average of 33.66 in T20 and ODI matches respectively.one cannot judge Finch's ability with one common series.

Alex Carey ( Delhi Capitals)

The Australian will be making his IPL debut with Delhi Capitals this season. Alex Carey is a wicketkeeper left-handed batsman. He played two T20 matches and scored three runs. He made a comeback in the ODI series and scored 152 in three ODI, most notably his century in the final and last ODI which helped Australia to win the series. 

Pat Cummins ( Kolkata Knight Riders)

Pat Cummins was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in 14.4 crores in IPL 2020 auction. He had a very basic performance against England in both ODI and T20 Series. He took a total of four wickets in six matches. He would be under huge pressure of proving his high price paid by KKR right.

Josh Hazelwood (Chennai Super Kings)

Hazelwood is a right-arm fast bowler he will play for CSK in IPL 2020. Hazelwood took a total of five wickets in three T20 and three ODI matches. Chennai Super Kings bought him ahead of IPL 2020.

Mitchell Marsh ( SunRisers Hyderabad) 

Mitchell Marsh will play for SunRisers Hyderabad in IPL 2020. He played one ODI and three T20 matches. Marsh scored 76 runs in 3 T20. His highest score was 72. Marsh has a huge experience of playing in IPL. He had played for Kings XI Punjab in the previous editions. 

Glen Maxwell ( Kings XI Punjab)

Glen Maxwell is one of the explosive batsmen in the world. The right-handed batsman scored 33 runs in three T20 and 186 runs in three ODIs. He was Australia's highest run-scorer in the ODI series against Australia. Kings XI Punjab fans would be excited to see him in action. 

Josh Phillipe ( Royals Challengers Bangalore) 

Josh Phillipe will play for RCB in the IPL 2020. He didn't feature in a single game against England. 

Steve Smith ( Rajasthan Royals)

Steve Smith will lead the Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming season of IPL. He played three T20 and scored 31 runs. Smith did not play in the ODI series due to a head injury in the practice session. Now he is completely fit and will be making his comeback in the Indian Premier League.

Marcus Stoinis ( Delhi Capitals)

Marcus Stoinis was bought by Delhi Capitals in IPL 2020 auction. He scored 86 runs in three T20 and 56 runs in three ODIs. This would be Stoinis fifth season in the Indian Premier League. He made his IPL debut in 2016.

Andrew Tye ( Rajasthan Royals)

Andrew tye won the purple cap in IPL 2018. He has not included in the playing XI of the T20 and ODI series matches. Tye will play for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020.

Adam Zampa ( Royal Challengers Bangalore) 

Adam Zampa was signed by RCB as a replacement for Kane Richardson. Zampa took a total of 13 wickets in Australia tour of England 2020. He was the highest wicket-taker (10) in the ODI series.

The first match of the Indian Premier League will be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings on September 19 at 7:30 PM (IST) in Abu Dhabi.
