IPL 2020: After Amazon & Byju’s, Patanjali to enter the race of IPL title sponsorship!

The Indian home brand Patanjali have openly declared that they will be bidding for the title sponsorship of IPL 2020. As Patanjali spokesperson said that they are willing to enter the race of gaining the IPL title sponsorship, so that they could give their brand Patanjali a global marketing platform. He also added that they are considering of making a proposal to the BCCI.  

After Indo-China clash in Galwan valley, there was huge protest against Chinese brands & companies, government even banned various Chinese apps for security bounds. But after BCCI retaining its title sponsor Vivo a Chinese phone company, it landed itself in a blaze of backlash around the internet as well as from various organizations. After huge backlash & internal disputes Vivo opted out from its title sponsorship of IPL.  

There were various speculations about the next title sponsor for IPL, like e-commerce giant Amazon, online education startup Byju’s, were in mainstream of people’s guessing game! The biggest telecommunication brand Reliance Jio was also in this speculation but now it has declined it’s offer of title sponsorship, the hunt for title sponsor is still on!  

BCCI to release Expression of Interest (EOI) by today! BCCI to soon complete this process, so that it can focus further on IPL 2020 in UAE. Soon we will be having a title sponsor of IPL 2020!  

IPL 2020 will be starting from 19 September to 10 November in UAE, the first match will be played between Mumbai Indians & Chennai Super Kings.
