IND vs ENG Series: The entire squads of the Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli will amass in Chennai on January 27 ahead of the first Test against England which will commence at MA Chidambaram Stadium on February 5. The Indian players would reach Chennai in batches and enter the bio-bubble from Jan 27. They will undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine during which the Indian team management will make a strategy for the two-month-long series.
The England tour of India will kick-start in a full-fledged series with the much-anticipated ICC Test Championship Tests (One pink-ball D/N match), followed by five T20Is and three ODIs. The first match of the series, scheduled to begin on February 5 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
The venue for the famous Pink-ball Test which is scheduled to be held on February 24, is the World's largest Cricket Stadium i.e. Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad. The squads for both sides for the third and the final Test and the T20Is and ODIs are yet to be announced though.
