IND vs AUS Playing XI for 2nd T20: Virat Kohli-led Team India will be eyeing for the tenth successive T20 International victory when the Men in Blue get into the field against Australia in the second T20 of the three-match series at Sydney Cricket Ground today. The match is slated to begin at 1:40 PM IST. As Team India already takes a 1-0 lead in the series. Both the teams would make certain changes in their playing XIs due to the injury concerns. The playing 11 updates for today's marquee encounter are stated as below.

Mathew Wade to lead the Aussies in the 2nd T20. For Australia, Aaron Finch, Hazlewood, Starc are out and Daniel Sams, Marcus Stoinis, Andrew Tye are in while for India, Yuzvendra Chahal replaces Jadeja. Shardul Thakur replaces Shami. Birthday boy Shreyas Iyer in for Pandey.

India would have retained its winning combination in the second T20 but Ravindra Jadeja, who got hit on the helmet and also suffered a hamstring injury, has been ruled out of the white ball series, and the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) named Shardul Thakur as his replacement. Birthday boy Jaspreet Bumrah might be seen playing in place of Mohammad Shami, who has been colorless in the first T20.

Australia, on the other hand, has been concerned about the injury of some marquee players due to which Finch and Co are lacking behind the visitors especially in their batting department. The biggest positive from the previous game for the home side was the all-around performance of in-form Moises Henriques, who bowled superbly and put some fight against the Indian pacers.

In the latest major development, Ashton Agar has been replaced by Nathon Lyon in the Australia T20I squad. Moreover, Australian team management has released all-rounder Cameron Green for the India A vs Australia A practice matches.
