As per the Australian government’s travel guidelines during Covid-19 pandemic, a person entering the country has to undergo a 14-day quarantine. The majority of the Indian squad were competing in the IPL 2020 and following the conclusion of their respective team’s campaign, Virat Kohli and Co will land in Sydney where it will undergo a 14-day quarantine during which it has been allowed to train.

Indian team to play three ODIs, three T20s and four Tests starting November 27. The ODI and T20 series will be played in Sydney and Canberra from November 27 to December 8. The much-awaited Test series begins with the Day-Night Test at Adelaide from December 17.

'Hitman' Rohit Sharma, who led Mumbai Indians to a record-extending fifth IPL title on Tuesday, and Ishant Sharma, who is recovering from internal injury in his oblique muscle at the NCA in Bengaluru, will join the team later. They both are only part of the Test squad.
