IND vs AUS Dream11 Prediction: India and Australia will clash in the game's traditional format on Thursday, January 7. The IND vs AUS 3rd Test gets underway at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). The match will start at 5:00 AM IST. Here is our India vs Australia Dream11 prediction including the batsmen, all-rounders, bowlers, and wicket-keepers in your Dream11 fantasy team as given below.
The Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia is all set to start 2021 with the New Year Test in Sydney. Stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane led Team India has been right on the money and they will be aiming to ensure they win the third Test and retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as the Indian team did in 2018-19. So, picking Rohit and Bumrah as Captain or Vice-captain will benefit you in the Dream11 team.
The Indian cricket team welcomes Rohit Sharma and Navdeep Saini and both are all set to roar against the Aussies. Saini comes in place of Umesh Yadav who had injured himself in the Boxing Day Test. An injury to KL Rahul meant that there was no change in the middle-order for Team India, so Hanuma Vihari set to hold on to his spot in the team despite having failed in both Tests.
Congratulations @navdeepsaini96. He realises his dream of playing Test cricket for #TeamIndia today. A proud holder of 🧢 299 and he receives it from @Jaspritbumrah93. #AUSvIND pic.twitter.com/zxa5LGJEen— BCCI (@BCCI) January 6, 2021
From Australia's point of view, Will Pucovski and David Warner likely to return at the top of the batting order. Their arrival would force Matthew Wade in the middle-order though it is yet to be finalised who will sacrifice for Wade.
The SCG pitch is expected to favor the seamers where the batsmen will struggle to get going. Apart from a couple of early days, the batsmen will find it hard to score runs here. The average first inning score will be hovering around 270-300 runs, while in the second inning, it may get reduced to 200 approx.
Wicket-keeper - Mathew Wade
Batsmen - Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma (C), Shubman Gill, Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith
All-rounders - Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin
Bowlers - Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Jaspreet Bumrah (VC)

Australia Playing XI - David Warner, Will Pucovski, Marnus Labuschagne, Steven Smith, Matthew Wade, Cameron Green, Tim Paine (C/WK), Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc
Ajinkya Rahane-led India stood up against all the odds in the 2nd Test and made a strong comeback to level the four-match Test series. While Australia had dominated the proceedings in the Adelaide Test, the Indian team has an upper hand in the much-anticipated third Test. However, on the batting front, the two sides are at the same level.
