IND vs AUS 1st Test (Pink-ball D/N): Virat Kohli led Team India have announced their XI for the first Border-Gavaskar Test against Australia (IND vs AUS 1st Test) starting tomorrow in Adelaide. Prithvi Shaw gets the nod over Shubman Gill as India's opener in the first day-night Test and Wriddhiman Saha will be picked over Rishabh Pant as a wicket-keeper. So, in short, we can say that Two S's (Shaw and Saha) picked ahead of Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant.

Meanwhile, Cricket legendary Sunil Gavaskar and Allan Border on Tuesday backed the young talented batsman Shubman Gill to open for India in the upcoming four-match Test series, kick-starting from tomorrow onwards.

The trio of Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, and Ajinkya Rahane forms a robust middle-order. Hanuma Vihari grabs 6th spot who notched a scintillating ton against Australia A in the second practice match. He remains unbeaten on 104 along with another centurion Rishabh pant to propel India to a mammoth 472-run lead in the second inning. However, the match ends with no result.

The bowling dept consists of three pacers and a lone spinner in the form of R Ashwin. Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami, and Jasprit Bumrah are the main quick for the opening Test in Adelaide.
