ICC Test Batsman Rankings 2020: The former Australian batsman Steve Smith is currently leading the table with 911 Rating Points while Indian skipper Virat Kohli is in second place followed by New Zealand team captain Kane Williamson, who has 877 points under his name. Run Machine Virat Kohli on Tuesday climbed up one place to second spot in the MRF Tyres ICC Test Batsmen Rankings which also features Chesteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane at the 7th and 10th places respectively.
Moreover, one of the modern day greats, Virat Kohli is the leading Indian batsman with 886 rating points behind Australia’s Steve Smith (911 points). Williamson dropped one rank below behind King Kohli. Then came the young Australian batsman Marnus Labuschagne, Pakistan’s Babar Azam is at five, Cheteswar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, the two Indian batsmen among the Top 10 batsmen.
The list is being headed by Australia’s Pat Cummins (904), followed by England’s Stuart Broad and New Zealand’s Neil Wagner. Pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah (779) and veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin (756) are the two Indians to find a place in the ICC Test rankings for bowlers at eighth and 10th spots respectively.
The Two other Indians all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin also feature in the Top 10 lists for ICC Test rankings for all-rounders. 'SIR' Jadeja has a dream run from IPL 2020 up till now and is placed at third behind West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder, and R Ashwin is at sixth place with 281 rating points.
