Former England cricket team captain Alastair Cook and Australia talisman David Warner have been picked as the openers in the ICC's XI. The middle-order fills up with the Kiwi skipper Mr. perfectionist Kane Williamson. Kohli is placed at the number 4 spot while Australia's star batsman Steve Smith has been put at number 5.
Sri Lankan veteran Kumar Sangakkara has been picked as the lone wicket-keeper of the ICC's playing XI. While Englishmen Ben Stokes has been placed in the all-rounder category.
