The former South Africa captain AB de Villiers has played 78 Twenty20I internationals in which he has scored 1672 runs at an average of 26.12 and with a brutal strike rate of 135.16. He was last seen in action in the Big Bash League (BBL 10) for Brisbane Heat.

No other batsman could break his record so far. de Villiers holds the record for the fastest century, half-century, and 150 runs. de Villiers has scored 50 runs in 16 balls, hits 150 off 44 balls against West Indies back in 2015.
Notably, ABD has accumulated 8765 runs in 114 Tests including 22 hundred and 46 half-centuries. At the same time, playing 228 ODIs, he notched 9577 runs with 25 tons. In both ODI and Tests, he averages in excess of 50.
