Mighty English side is ready for their third consecutive bilateral series as they prepare to face Australia. In July, England became the first nation to resume cricket season amid “New normal "of Covid-19 era. First, they welcomed West Indies, then Pakistan and now they are ready for Australian test. The English Cricket Board (ECB) deserves an applause for conduction series in such a difficult situation.  

The Australian team reached England two weeks prior to the series. The Aussies were kept under strict bio-bubble, where players were quarantined and numerous safety measures were undertaken to protect against corona Virus.  

The contest between England and Australia will commence on 4th September with a T20 at The Rose Bowl stadium, Southampton and will be conclude with an ODI at Old Trafford, Manchester on 16th September.

To ensure maximum safety and to curtail travelling all the six matches will be held in two stadiums. All the T20 will be played at Rose bowl Stadium, Southampton and the ODIs will be played at Old Trafford, Manchester.   

England vs Australia ODI and T20I Schedule

T20I series with date and timings: 

1st T20 England v Australia: Friday, 4 September at The Ageas Bowl (10:30 pm IST) 
Result- England won by 2 wickets 

2nd T20 England v Australia: Sunday, 6 September at The Ageas Bowl (6:45 pm IST) 
Result- England won by 6 wickets 

3rd T20 England v Australia: Tuesday, 8 September at The Ageas Bowl (10:30 pm IST) 
Result- Australia won by 5 wickets.

Series Result- England won the series by 2-1.

ODI series with date and timings  

1st ODI England v Australia: Friday 11 September at Emirates Old Trafford (5:30 pm IST) 
Result- Australia won by 19 runs 

2nd ODI England v Australia: Sunday 13 September at Emirates Old Trafford (5:30 pm IST) 
Result- England won by 24 runs

3rd ODI England v Australia: Wednesday 16 September at Emirates Old Trafford (5:30 pm IST)
Result- Australia won by 3 wickets  

Series Result- Australia won the series by 2-1
